Sony Xperia C5 Ultra vs. Nexus 5 2015: Which phone has the superior features?

Sony has just launched the Xperia C5 Ultra in India but it is already facing tough competition from other smartphones that are yet to be released, and one of them is the Nexus 5 2015.

Since the Sony Xperia C5 Ultra is being pitted against the upcoming Nexus 5 2015, users will have to weigh each feature to determine which of the two smartphones is the superior one. Price is not the only basis for comparison, but consumers will also have to examine the battery, camera, display, and processor of the two devices, according to the International Business Times.

In terms of display, the Sony Xperia C5 Ultra takes home the bacon with its 6-inch touch screen display and 367 ppi pixel density compared with the Nexus 5's 5.2-inch screen. But there are rumors that Huawei will create a phablet version of the Nexus 5, which will have a 5.7-inch display, although this is yet unconfirmed, Latinos Post reports.

Looking at the processor, Sony Xperia C5 Ultra is powered by a MediaTek MT6752 chip and is packed with 16 GB internal storage, which is expandable up to 200 GB, plus 2 GB of RAM. The Nexus 5, on the other hand, will run a Snapdragon 808 64-bit hexa-core Adreno 418 processor and has 2 GB of RAM, Phandroid says.

When it comes to camera, the Xperia C5 Ultra fares better because of its 13-megapixel rear and front snappers. The Nexus 5's camera similarity with its competitor stops at the rear camera.

As for the power, the Xperia C5 Ultra's 2,930 mAh battery is inferior to the rumored 3,220 mAh battery of the Nexus 5 2015.

The Xperia C5 Ultra will come with a price tag of around $454, while the Nexus 5 will cost between $300 and $400.

In conclusion, both smartphones offer great features for affordable prices, although some of the Nexus 5 features are still unconfirmed. But if the user wants a bigger phone with a better camera focus, the Sony C5 Ultra is perfect. But if they want a phone that packs a more powerful processor and battery, they should wait for the Nexus 5 2015.
