Sony Xperia Z4 News: Rumored Specs, Features, Release Date
With the launch of the Sony Xperia Z3, it is reported that Sony is already hard at the work on the follow-up of the device.
The next generation gadget is rumored to have an impressive camera that is equipped with a high-speed and high-sensitivity sensor. According to a leak obtained by Chinese website CNBeta, the Xperia Z4 will have a camera with an IMX189AEG CMOS image sensor.
The new sensor will reportedly be able to record 2K video (2048 x 1080) at 16,000 frames per second, with 4K video (6144 x 2160) recording at 240 frames per second, which is definitely faster than that of the Z3, which is already superior in its own right.
Previous leaks hint that the phone will come with a 5.5 inch QHD 1440 x 2560 display, a 64 bit 2.8GHz octa-core Snapdragon 810 processor, 4 GB of RAM and an Adreno 430 GPU.
The device is likewise rumored to have 32GB of storage, and the phone is expected to support Bluetooth 4.1 and LTE Cat connectivity.
Music lovers will be delighted as the Xperia Z4 is said to be equipped with a dedicated amp and a lot of focus on audio quality.
The Z4 will reportedly have a Qi-Wireless charging support because the magnetic charging support found in the Z3 will be removed. The microUSB on the smartphone will do away with the flap because users of the previous generation handsets have complained of the flap being torn off.
The Z4 is expected to run on the Android Lollipop and will apparently be waterproof and dustproof. It is rumored to make its debut in March 2-5, 2015 at the World Mobile Congress.
