Sony Xperia Z5 Release Date News: Coming in September 2015, Alleged Specs Leaked
Not long after the Xperia Z3+ (Xperia Z4 in Japan) launched, there were already rumors spreading about the Sony Xperia Z5 which is considered to be the electronic device and gadget company's real flagship device for 2015, according to reports.
"The Xperia Z5 is going to be far better Smartphone with new design and powerful specs," said Xperia Z5 Sony.

The smartphone is expected to launch sometime in September during IFA 2015, a technology trade show that will take place in Germany. The said event is scheduled on Sept. 4 to 9 and the press conferences where all the announcements are made usually occurs the day before. With this being said, Sony's IFA 2015 press conference may happen on Sept. 3, PC Advisor reports.
As for the speculated specs, the Z5 will apparently feature a 5.5-inch display and will come with 1,080-by-1,920-pixel screen resolutions, as reported by International Business Times. The smartphone is also reportedly going to be powered by Qualcomm's yet to be released Snapdragon 820 processor to avoid any overheating problems. It may also come with 4GB of RAM and fingerprint recognition system just like that of Samsung and Apple handsets. Although, there is no definite information available on where Sony is planning to implement this fingerprint scanner. There are speculations that it may be seen on the home button, according to Technodify.
The device is rumored to also have a 1,080-by-1,920-pixel screen resolution. This display combination translates to a pixel density of 401 ppi. On the imaging front, the device is expected to feature the latest Sony Exmor RS IMX230 based CMOS sensor with 4K video recording support, HDR and 21 million pixels.
Memory specification for Z5 is expected to be equipped with 32GB of internal storage. However, details about microSD card slot availability is not yet disclosed. There is no information yet regarding the price of Xperia Z5 but if it's anything like the previous model, the expected cost may be around £550 SIM-free.
