Their 16 GB version will be sold for $500 which matches the 16 GB iPad’s price. The 32 GB Tablet S will cost $599.99 and both will also be wi-fi only connection to the internet.

Both models became available for pre-order on Wednesday and should hit stores on September 16.

When Sony first debuted the Tablet S in April it was called the S1 alongside another tablet called the S2 which now will become the Tablet P.

Sony has not yet set a date for the release of the Tablet P nor have they given it a price.

Both of Sony’s tablets sport a unique design unlike anything else on the market.

The Tablet S’s appearance resembles a paperback that has been folded back at its binding leaving it with a thick and thin side. All of the heavy components are contained in the thicker side shifting its weight to the strongest part of your hand, according to Gizmodo who recently tested the device.

The Tablet P has a clamshell design with the ability to open and close and sports 5.5 inch dual screens.

Both will be equipped with front and rear cameras for video and photo taking.

The Tablet S will include a full-sized SD card reader.

The Tablet P will run on both wi-fi and AT&T’s 4G networks.
