Soul2Soul Radio Announces New Imprint En Espanol
Soul2Soul Radio International announced during a GMA press conference the launch of Soul2Soul En Espanol a new Spanish language version of the internationally syndicated Soul2Soul Radio program. Premiering in the summer of this year, Soul2Soul En Espanol will be produced in partnership with Shock FM in Guatemala and syndicated to Spanish language music stations in South and Central America and across the United States.
We were approached twice in 2004 and asked to adapt Soul2Soul to meet cultural and language needs internationally, said Soul2Souls President, Chris Coppernoll. Soul2Soul En Espanol fits our mission to advance contemporary Christian music, its artists, and the Gospel message.
Soul2Soul En Espanol will feature the same artists profiled on the original Soul2Soul (Third Day, Casting Crowns, Building 429, Selah) but with a Spanish-speaking host. The artists interviews will be translated over the English audio, as is the norm in world news broadcasts. The music aired on Soul2Soul En Espanol will be consistent with other Soul2Soul programs. Radio stations interested in broadcasting Soul2Soul En Espanol may contact Soul2Soul through their web site, www.s2sradio.com.
Soul2Soul En Espanol is the third unique imprint of the radio station, along with Soul2Soul Australia and the original program. In November of 2004 Soul2Soul Radio inaugurated Soul2Soul Australia in cooperation with the Australian Christian radio network Vision FM. By tailoring the successful Soul2Soul program to work within various world cultures, the testimonial content of Christian artists becomes more suitable for world audiences and their message reaches a larger audience.
Established in 1994, Soul2Soul Radio is a nonprofit organization committed
to the promotion of the Gospel through the music and interviews of contemporary Christian artists. Soul2Soul programming currently broadcasts weekly in 650 radio outlets.
