Manchester City try to get one step closer to securing the UEFA Champions League spot as they travel to the St. Mary's Stadium to face Southampton in the English Premier League.
The matchup is on May 1, 2016 at 11:30 AM ET.
It should be an interesting battle as Southampton are also trying to close out the season on a positive note and try to get as much points as possible.

They are eighth in the league at the moment and only one point behind Liverpool who are seventh at the moment. They are also only five points behind Manchester United who are fifth and hold the UEFA Europa League spot for the following year.
With three games remaining in the season, they can make up for the points and hope that United lose to Leicester City so they can trim the lead down to two points and hope for another miracle to see them make that European run.
Southampton have done well in the final stretch of the season; losing only once in their last seven games in the league. Unfortunately, they had draws against Sunderland and Everton which wasted four points that could have helped them at this point.
And outside of City, Southampton still have another tough battle as they have Tottenham Hotspur still left on their schedule.
Meanwhile, City are third in the league and are holding on to that spot thanks to a better goal difference against Arsenal. They are tied on points but City have the automatic spot in the UEFA Champions League at the moment.
A win here paired by a loss or a draw by Arsenal means they have enough breathing space by the end of the season.
City have won four of their last five league games and have not lost in that stretch. Outside of the EPL, City are still in the UEFA Champions League this year and are in the semis against Real Madrid.
