Spain Aiming for Consistent Play to Defeat Turks
Spain's national football team is aiming to remain undefeated versus its longtime rival, Turkey, while the latter hopes to end a 52-year drought against La Roja on Friday night.
The Group D battle will test Spain's winning streak versus Turkey and its great opening for the tournament, UEFA said on its official website. La Roja secured a 1-0 win against Czech Republic for its first game of the Euro Cup 2016 while Turkey did not stand a chance with Croatia.

Spain's head coach Vicente del Bosque mentioned in the same report that the team is focusing on the upcoming game and not looking back on their previous match. "We also have to approach this game expecting Turkey to make it really difficult for us," Del Bosque added.
He considers their opponent as a competitive team with great players who are productive on the field. The Spanish coach expects a tough matchup for Friday.
However, Spain's midfielder Andrés Iniesta is positive that he and his teammates will aim for a great performance versus Turkey. He told Sky Sports that they only need to plan and the game and go out with the same "motivation and enthusiasm" during their previous matches.
Turkey to give best shot
On the other hand, Turkey is seriously hoping to equal or surpass whatever preparation the Spanish team will bring to the match. Their loss to Croatia last weekend and another defeat would lower their chances of making it to the next round.
Team captain Arda Turan said in the same report that the whole team will all focus on getting a point to win and advance in the tournament. Coach Fatih Terim had to agree noting that he has instructed the team to "actually play" versus Spain.
"We will look more like the Turkish team we really are against Spain," Terih told EUFA. "Rest assured, it will be different."
