Specifications for a Dell-Made Windows 8 Tablet Leak
Specifications for what is going to be a Windows 8 tablet manufactured by Dell have surfaced on the internet today.
The information reveals that Dell is planning to launch a 10.8-inch tablet that will run Microsoft's upcoming software Windows 8. Its exact measurements are 10"x 7"x 0.4" and it weighs 1.57 lbs.
Other specifications on the device include an Intel Clover Trail Atom Dual-core processor, an integrated fingerprint reader, 2GB of RAM and 128GB of internal memory.

Dell did not have any information on price or release date for the device, but the report did confirm that it will be named the "Dell Latitude 10."
Dell has been a long time partner of Microsoft when it comes to many of the company's popular machines over the years, running all forms of Windows, and now it seems that it wants to be on the cutting edge with this new Windows 8 tablet.
Microsoft hopes to make its mark in the tablet market when it launches the software later on this year.
Windows 8 is specifically designed for touch-screen devices such as tablets. The company hopes to become a true competitor for Apple, who has dominated the market with its iPad since launching the device in 2010.
Other companies will utilize Windows 8 as well in order to better compete with Apple in the high-end tablet segment, since Android devices have had trouble doing so.
Even with Samsung's impressive Galaxy line, it is hard for anyone but Apple to catch fire in this area.
However, the low-end tablet market is a whole other story.
Amazon released its Kindle Fire tablet at the end of last year and it has gone on to create its own lane in the tablet market providing customers with lower-end devices that are much more affordable.
