Spelling Son Finn Davey Introduced
Tori Spelling and her husband Dean McDermott have officially introduced their fourth child Finn Davey this week. The newest addition of their family was born on Aug. 20.
"We are so excited to announce the birth of the newest member of the McDermott family," the couple wrote at the time.
The baby arrived weighing six pounds, six ounces, and measured 20 inches long. Finn Davey was born just 10 months after his older sister, Hattie.
In the recently debuted pictures, Spelling and her husband revealed Finn Davey, now 10 weeks old, inside his nursery.
While pregnant with the child, Spelling was hospitalized and also bedridden due to a placenta previa. Finn Davey arrived via c-section, the actress' second in less than one year.
"I would rub my belly and talk to Finn," said the 39-year-old mother while speaking to People magazine. "I kept telling him, 'We're going to be fine' and 'I can't wait to hold you.'"
The delivery resulted in additional medical problems for the "90210" star.
"Tori underwent emergency surgery over the weekend due to complications from her C-section," Spelling's representative explained just days after Finn's delivery, according to People magazine. "She remains in the hospital and is resting comfortably."
Finn Davey joined older sister Stella, 4; brother Liam, 5; Hattie, 13 months; and McDermott's son Jack, 14 from a prior marriage.
Spelling keeps her fans up-to-date by frequently posting on Twitter. The actress was enjoying her pregnancy and being home with her daughter just days before welcoming Finn Davey.
"Stella just said to me 'well mom … I guess you have a bun in the oven' don't know how she even knows that saying! Made me laugh," wrote the actress.
The "Tori and Dean" star more recently posted, "At kids bday party & all dads were playing soccer w/the boys."
"Had a moment," Spelling added on Saturday. "My hubs @Deanracer is HOT. He's the Beckham of kindergarten dads," she joked.
