Spice Girls Olympics: Girl Band Set for Reunion at London 2012 Closing Ceremony
The Spice Girls are expected to perform at the closing ceremony of the London Olympic Games next month, according to new reports.
The world famous British all girl band will seek to give the world a big British send off at the conclusion of the Games.
Victoria Beckham ("Posh Spice"), Emma Bunton ("Baby Spice"), Gerri Halliwell ("Ginger Spice"), Melanie Brown ("Scary Spice") and Melanie Chisholm ("Sporty Spice") are reported to be "95 percent" confirmed to take part in the closing ceremony, according to Britain's Daily Mirror newspaper.

The band were hugely popular across the globe from the late 1990's until 2008 after breaking into the pop music scene in 1996 with single "Wannabe."
That massive hit, which lifted them to global stardom, is being touted as being one of two sings the girls will sing together at the closing ceremony.
According to The Daily Mail, Victoria Beckham has already said she would love "nothing more" than getting back together with the group to sing together again.
"I don't know about a comeback tour but I loved being back with the girls...if they're up for something than I certainly am," she said. "We are so proud to be English and are very excited about the Olympics."
The Spice Girls last performed together in 2008. However, they have been getting together again for numerous promotional events throughout the years, and most recently launched "Viva Forever" last month. "Viva Forever," named after one of the hits, is a new musical based on their songs that will open in London later this year.
Queen, Take That, George Michael and The Who, are all touted to be appearing at the closing ceremony of the Olympics, as well as appearances from British models Kate Moss, Naomi Campbell and other British models.
