The concerts will be held at Hyde Park and Victoria Park. Over a million tickets will be sold for the event, which is scheduled to start on July 28, a day after the Olympic opening ceremony. The concert will run through till the end of the Olympic event on August 12.
Organizers are hoping to secure Led Zepplin and the Spice girls reformed, according to one source.
“Led Zepplin are at the top of the list. If they will re-form then it will be a massive coup for London and the Olympics,” the source said.
