Spice Girls reunion? Mel B confirms she's in!

Next year will mark the famous British girl group's 20th anniversary, and fans are excited about the "possible" Spice Girls reunion in the talks.

Spice Girls debut album, Spice, will reach this milestone next year, and there are rumors that a few members of the group had confirmed that they are "in."

According to Melanie Brown, a.k.a. Scary Spice, she is looking forward to a reunion. "It's our 20th anniversary next year, so — once we decide, and get things going — then I'll be the first one yelling it from the rooftops," the singer excitedly said to People.

The pop group went on their separate ways last 2000, but reunited for a tour in 2007 and 2008 around the world. Spice Girls also performed together as a group at the closing ceremony of the 2012 London Olympics.

However, in other news, Victoria Beckham, a.k.a. Posh Spice, said that she will not be able to join the possible reunion due to her prior commitments. It was reported before that David Beckham's wife is already "done" with the group.

According to Mirror UK, the designer had still given her "blessing" to the others. She won't be able to join Scary, Ginger, Sporty, and Baby on stage, but she will still be cheering for them from the sidelines.

An insider told the Sun that Victoria and Geri Halliwell, now Horner, met recently and reminisced about the old times. "Geri filled Victoria in on the plans for the reunion next year and while Victoria made it clear she couldn't make it, she said she was more than happy for the other girls to go ahead," the source said.

The "Girl Power" group still remains close, even with conflicting schedules. Last May, the group, minus Mel B, went to David Beckham's birthday celebration in Morocco. A month after, Geri, Melanie Chisholm, and Emma Bunton attended a music festival on the Isle of Wight.

Spice Girls fans will just have to wait for further news about the group's reunion next year.
