'Spider-Man' PS4 Rumors: Will Other Marvel Heroes Be Joining the Web-Slinger Inside the Game?

Location included in new trailer for the game prompting speculation that Doctor Strange could be making a cameo

It is hardly uncommon for heroes in the Marvel Universe to run into one another, and there is a chance that something like that may be happening in the upcoming "Spider-Man" PlayStation 4 game.

For those who may have missed it, a new trailer for the game was released during Paris Games Week. And along with revealing more about the plot and the different characters set to be featured, it also contained one more thing that has captured the attention of fans.

Spotted by Redditor "bigfatlove101," at one point in the trailer, viewers were given a quick, rising look of New York City, and there was a particular building in the background that stood out from the others.

The building in question looks to be the Sanctum Sanctorum, a place known for housing elements of the occult and the unexplained. It is an unusual building, one that does not always follow the rules of the natural world.

As interesting as the Sanctum Sanctorum is just by itself, it is made even noteworthy because of the person who calls it home.

The Marvel superhero Doctor Strange calls the Sanctum Sanctorum home, and that is why the structure being spotted in the latest trailer for the "Spider-Man" PS4 game could turn out to be a significant find.

After all, if the Sanctum Sanctorum is present in the game world, then perhaps that is an indicator that Doctor Strange himself will be featured too.

Some fans are even wondering if there may be other notable buildings that house other Marvel characters included in the game. And if there are, then maybe those heroes could make appearances as well.

Of course, it is also possible that the presence of the Sanctum Sanctorum is nothing more than just a little nod to the Marvel fans and that it is not actually hinting at anything gameplay-related.

Fans are just going to have to wait for the developers themselves to clear things up further, and that should happen soon enough since the "Spider-Man" PS4 game is already due out next year.
