'Splatoon Testfire' to return to U.S. Nintendo eShop
"Splatoon Testfire" is returning to the U.S. Nintendo eShop, and players will have the chance to demo maps in weapons for free for a limited time in August.
On August 21 to 23 from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. PT every day, players can explore different maps and weapons in Splatoon Testfire for free using the multiplayer mode. The game was recently added to the U.S. Nintendo eShop on Wii U and is available for $59.99, according to Worth Playing.
The Inklings are returning once again to splatter their foes with ink and establish their claims on their territories. Splatoon, the newest third-person action shooter game by Nintendo, is now available for the Wii U console.
In Splatoon, players can participate in a wild four-on-four challenge where they aim to splatter their enemies on as many places as they can. In the middle of all the chaotic ink-splashing and blending in their team colors, they will strive to claim their turf.
Splatoon has many features that make it a very fun-filled game. Aside from trying to cover the level with ink, players can also spray walls to gain access to difficult areas. The more places they cover with ink, the more chances they have of unlocking super weapons, which they can use against their enemies, the report details.
Other Wii U games available on the eShop are "The Bridge," "Crab Cakes Rescue," "Factotum," "Mortar Melon," and "Woah Dave!" VG 24/7 reports.
Nintendo offers different content that gamers can download if they want more video games other than those in retail shops. The eShop is updated every week to add new games for the Wii U console and 3DS family of systems. The Nintendo DSi shop is also updated weekly to add new games for the DSi system, and the Wii Shop Channel for the Wii console, Develop Online details.
