Spring Anime 2017: 'Attack on Titan 2,' 'Boruto: Naruto Next Generations,' Yu-Gi-Oh! VRAINS' Lead the Pack

Japan is well known for its technology and progressive culture while preserving its roots. While those are some of the many achievements the country has under its belt, it is hard to forget that great anime also come from it, and there are a lot of them to watch out for this spring.

Live Chart has compiled most of the anime series arriving starting this month. Given the vast number of titles with most returning as sequels, it may be hard to choose, but here are some of them that arguably creates a lot of noise.

At the top of the list is the horrific yet oddly mesmerizing "Attack on Titan 2." In a poll ran by Kotaku, the sequel came out as the top anime that everyone wants to see, either to see more brutal kills or to marvel at how the story continues to unfold. IGN has even encouraged people to watch the first season to hype oneself for the upcoming installment.

Another one tells the story of the new generation, "Boruto: Naruto Next Generations." Set to tell the tale of the new ninjas, it will illustrate what happens when the torch is passed on to the kids of the characters of "Naruto Shippuden." Despite the focus shifting, manga creator Masashi Kishimoto has promised it will be a better series than its predecessor, "Anime News Network reports.

Not far behind is the latest installment to a long saga, "Yu-Gi-Oh! VRAINS." The plot revolves around the protagonist Yūsaku Fujiki, a boy who tries to blend in but gets attention after showing his talent in dueling in virtual reality. It shows the card game is about to play into new territories.

With a lot of shows to choose from, it will prove to be another season filled with hours of imagination.
