St Louis Shooting: 2715 Cherokee Street Shooting Kills 4, Gunman Still On Loose (MAP PHOTO)
Four people have been killed in a St. Louis shooting on Cherokee Street on Thursday afternoon, sparking a massive police presence as authorities reportedly search for the shooter.
A police source said the incident occurred at 1:40 p.m. local time inside the Cherokee Place Business Incubator on 2715 Cherokee Street, according to St. Louis Today.
Police evacuated the building and were interviewing numerous people in the local vacinity with one man and two woman being taken into custody, local sources have reported.
Two ambulances and at least 12 police cars were on hand as they closed off Iowa and Ohio avenues.
This is the second shooting in St. Louis since last night. In the previous incident from Wednesday night, Davonta Coleman was charged with six counts of armed criminal action and one count of shooting out of a vehicle.
Police said that dispute was between fighting families.
No motive has been identified yet in the present incident, and conflicting reports are emerging over whether authorities are still searching for an active shooter as at 3.45 p.m. ET.
