Stacie Orrico to announce Grammy nominations; featured on Target CD

The holiday season is quickly getting busy for Stacie Orrico. In addition to performing on next week’s Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade (live from 9 AM to 12 Noon EST on NBC), and The Christmas Tree Lighting at Rockefeller Center on December 3, Orrico has just been confirmed to host the Grammy® Award nominations press conference on December 4, appear as a guest on NBC’s Today Show on December 22, and included as part of Target stores’ Sounds of the Season exclusive Christmas CD.

Joining Dido, Evanescence's Amy Lee, Moby, Jason Mraz, and Brad Paisley, Orrico will help announce the nominations for the 46th Annual Grammy Awards on Thursday, December 4, 2003 at 8:30AM PST. The 46th Annual Grammy Awards will originate from the Staples Center in downtown Los Angeles, and the show will be broadcast live on the CBS Television Network on February 8, 2004, at 8 PM (EST/PST).

Holiday shoppers who hit Target stores will have exclusive access to the season’s hottest yuletide music on the Sounds of the Season CD featuring music from Orrico (“Christmas Wish”) as well as Norah Jones, Coldplay, Josh Groban, Kylie Minogue, Bonnie Raitt, and the Brian Setzer Orchestra. NBC will partner with Target to promote the CD throughout the holidays, which includes featuring it in its December 3 telecast of “Christmas in Rockefeller Center.”
