'Star Wars Battlefront 2' DLC News: Criterion Teases More Offline Content, Starfighter Assault and Promises 'Loads More Updates' for 2018
Like the recently released "Star Wars: The Last Jedi," which is the subject of its first expansion, "Star Wars Battlefront 2" is at the receiving end of some major criticism.
However, developer Criterion Games promises to make the necessary changes to give players the gameplay experience they were hoping to get in the game. One of the departments they plan on improving is the post-launch side of things.
In response to a fan on Twitter, the studio hinted of more offline content for "Star Wars Battlefront 2" in the future:

We've already adjusted some of our plans for future DLC at Criterion because of the demand we've been hearing for more offline content since the game shipped. We're working on what that content might be, but we're certainly not deaf to what players are asking for more of.
The new year is expected to be big for "Star Wars Battlefront 2" with Criterion revealing that they already have a "massive wall of update ideas" that they plan to bring out in 2018 including more space combat missions for the offline mode. The challenge now is making them all a reality:
But there's a lot of planning, work and discussion with EA DICE and Disney Lucasfilm to do before anything can be confirmed. And we're just looking at starfighter stuff. EA DICE are working on loads more updates.

Of course, there is nothing to announce for now in this aspect, but "Star Wars Battlefront 2" sure have a lot to look forward to next year.
