'Star Wars Battlefront 2' Rumors: Sequel May Include a Reward System Designed to Discourage Players From Leaving Matches Early

Rumored system may provide players with bonuses for staying in a match

Playing online can be a truly pleasant experience, especially when groups of friends can get together and partake in something they all enjoy. There are times though when playing online can be frustrating due to the behavior of others, and the upcoming game "Star Wars Battlefront 2" may be doing something to help players avoid those unpleasant experiences.

To be more specific, the sequel may be released along with a system that is designed to discourage players from leaving matches well before they should.

Some of the leading reasons for why players may leave matches early include the desire to preserve their record, frustration or just to simply annoy their opponents who may have gotten the better of them.

None of those reasons really justify leaving early though.

On top of that, quitting a match early also robs other players of their rightful rewards.

So what are the developers of "Star Wars Battlefront 2" planning to do to discourage early match departures?

Spotted recently by WCCF Tech, a Reddit post from noted leakster "Some_Info" appears to detail a system developers may implement in the hopes of discouraging match-leaving.

According to the post, there will be a reward system included in the game that will provide players with bonuses.

The bonuses are apparently going to be handed out at certain points in a match, and the longer a match goes, the better the bonuses may be for the participants who choose to stay.

It sounds like the system is meant to give players reasons to stay in a match as opposed to punishing them for leaving.

Some of the fans who have commented on the post have expressed their approval of the detailed reward system.

More details about "Star Wars Battlefront 2" should be made available soon and the game itself is due out worldwide on Nov. 17.
