'Star Wars Battlefront' DLC: Season Pass Leak True?
A couple of new leaks have surfaced that claim to have new details and release dates for the Electronic Arts' action shooter game. The leaks come roughly a week after EA outlined its content plan for "Star Wars Battlefront."
A"Star Wars Battlefront" user and a Redditor recently shared some very specific information regarding what EA was planning for the game's add-on content. In particular, the leaks detail information on the game's Season Pass.
According to the leaks, the first expansion pack from the Season Pass will include two new modes, Invasion and Scramble. The second expansion will supposedly release on July 17, 2016, bringing with it a new Bounty Hunt mode and new characters Lando Calrissian and Chewbacca. As for the third expansion pack, the leaks claim it will introduce space battles around the Death Star and will launch on Nov. 12. The final expansion, meanwhile, will allegedly release in the first quarter of 2017.

Fortunately, the "Star Wars Battlefront" community doesn't have to wonder on the authenticity of the leaks. Mat Everett, a.k.a. Sledgehammer70, a community manager at EA, has confirmed that these leaks are "simply made up."
"Unfortunately, we have community members who like to stir the pot ahead of actual details," Everett said on Friday, Feb. 5, to clear things up. "While the Season Pass content is deep into development, the specific details have not been completely revealed. The material outlined by this Reddit user are simply made up."
What's confirmed so far are EA's "Star Wars Battlefront" DLC plans from now until until early next year. Regarding the Season Pass, in particular, EA will be bringing in new maps, modes, heroes, and weapons, but the exact release dates of the DLCs have not been announced yet.
The first "Star Wars Battlefront" DLC is called Outer Rim, which will bring players to Sullust and Tatooine. EA said this expansion pack will come out next month. The second Season Pass DLC is Bespin, which is scheduled to arrive in the summer. EA promised to give players an "action-packed experience" through this add-on content. The third expansion pack is Death Star, which will be coming in the fall. Finally, the fourth DLC, which doesn't have a title yet, will arrive in "early 2017."
