The DL-44's fire rate has gone down from 250 to 180. Its overheating has also been tweaked.

The Homing Shot's projectile speed is now down to 23 from 30 and lock on distance has been reduced by 10 meters. On the other hand, lock on time has gone up to 1.5 from 0.4.

Those using Boba Fett might be interested to know that his missile doesn't lock anymore and his wristlauncher's damage range has been lowered from 4 to 2.5, bringing maximum damage from 1 to 1.2 meters. Weapon damage over distance has also gone down from 30 to 20 between 30 and 60 meters. It used to be 25 in 80 meters.

On the heroes' side, Han Solo's weapon damage over distance is now at 70 to 30 between 10 and 25 meters. His Millennium Falcon, along with the Slave I, has had their health reduced by 30 percent as well.

The developer has also added new content and functionality to the game. Players can now participate in new daily challenges, have private matches, and explore a brand-new survival map in Tatooine. A new setting for actively choosing a server site has been added, too.

And then of course, there's the slew of bug fixes plus the special reward promised to the community previously.

Special reward

DICE has also announced the special reward for the community's achievement of December's Heroes' Holiday mission. The unlocked items are Hoth-themed outfits for Luke Skywalker and Han Solo. Any player who chooses to play as either character will be able to dress them up with these new costumes.

In addition to the "Star Wars Battlefront" January update and special rewards, DICE also revealed the free and premium DLCs scheduled to release from this month until early 2017.
