Star Wars Episode 7 Plot: Pig Beast Revealed in Leaked Pictures
New pictures were leaked from the set of Star Wars Episode 7 that show a giant pig-like creature that will appear in the new film.
The photos were obtained by TMZ who published them earlier this week.
An inside source informed them that this new alien was manned by five men inside its belly and is being used in two scenes that take place in something that looks like a Tatooine marketplace. This is a planet that has appeared in both the original trilogy and prequels for those unfamiliar with Star Wars.
This new Star Wars trilogy will reportedly use less CGI in order to make it more like the original three movies. These pictures confirm those plans as this creature seems to be a mechanical prop. Something like this could have easily been created using CGI.
The episode 7 plot will feature an arc with the son of Han Solo and Princess Leia who will be played by Adam Driver, according to JediNews.
"Sounds like Adam Driver is not going to play a villain… sort of," wrote the site. "He will be playing the son of Han and Leia, and it seems he will be seduced to the Dark Side and a main plot point for the movie will be their attempt to rescue him."
The film officially began shooting at the end of last month as J.J. Abrams tweeted out pictures from the set. The movie is currently being filmed in Abu Dhabi.
The cast for the film was also announced a few weeks ago and it includes actors from the original trilogy such as Mark Hamill, Carrie Fisher, and Harrison Ford along with newcomers John Boyega, Daisy Ridley and Adam Driver.
