'Star Wars Rebels' Season 3 Episode 20 Spoilers: Darth Maul, Obi-Wan Kenobi's Final Showdown Teased in 'Twin Suns'

The highly-awaited rematch between Jedi Master Obi-Wan Kenobi and ex-Sith Darth Maul is set to take place in the upcoming 20th episode of "Star Wars Rebels" season 3.

As most fans of the animated series already know, Darth Maul has finally discovered that his nemesis, Obi-Wan Kenobi, is hiding out on the planet of Tatooine. Now, he is coming to get his revenge after the Jedi cut him in half at the end of "Star Wars: Episode 1 — The Phantom Menace."

Several promo videos for the upcoming episode have also been released. In one clip, Darth Maul can be seen arriving on Tatooine, saying, "I can feel his presence... see him. My mind's eye... will it end here... like this?"

The video then cuts to a scene where the former Sith and Obi-Wan are standing in front of each other as they wield their lightsabers. The preview ends with Darth Maul screaming in fury, "Kenobi!"

The official description for the 20th episode of "Star Wars Rebels" season 3 reads:

"The fates of Obi-Wan Kenobi and Darth Maul have long been intertwined. From their fateful duel in 'Star Wars: The Phantom Menace' where Kenobi left Maul for dead, to their tragic reunion in 'Star Wars: The Clone Wars' when Maul wreaked havoc across the galaxy before disappearing once again. In the upcoming episode of Star Wars Rebels, 'Twin Suns,' the dark warrior has managed to track down his old enemy to the desert wastes of Tatooine. Will their rivalry come to an end?"

After its 20th episode, "Star Wars Rebels" will be airing its two-part season 3 finale on March 25. The series has already been renewed for a fourth season by Disney, and showrunner Dave Filoni previously revealed that the animated series is already heading toward a conclusion.

"Star Wars Rebels" season 3 episode 20 is scheduled to air on Saturday, March 18 at 8:30 p.m. EDT on Disney XD.
