Old characters in different time frames
Star Wars fans have grown to love and connect with such characters as Han Solo, Darth Vader and the drones. In this movie, they will see a young Han Solo to be played by Alden Ehrenreich, and a young Darth Vader to be played by Hayden Christensen. The movie will focus on the exploits of Han Solo as a teen as well as how Darth Vader became a sinister villain. Old characters such as Bail Organa and a number of new aliens will also be featured.
First trailer in April
Disney has released a teaser for the movie and although it has not revealed so much about its plot, it has given fans and followers some clues as to what to expect when the movie is finally released.
The clip opens to Felicity Jones who is again being uneasy about the rebellion. She was overheard saying the words: "This is a rebellion, isn't it? I rebel." The teaser also showed action shots of the Rebellion as well as the Imperial forces mobilizing their troops. Among the characters included in the clip are Forest Whitaker's Gerrera, the deathroopers and a sinister dark side character that can be seen bowing before a tank. The dark force can be overheard saying "Hope begins with rebellion." These words refer to the prequel's Episode VI: A New Hope.
