'Star Wars: The Last Jedi' News: Adam Driver Just Dropped Some Major Spoilers About Kylo Ren, Rey
"Star Wars: The Last Jedi" will hit theaters in less than a couple of months, and spoilers just keep on coming. Recently, one of its cast members, Adam Driver, dropped some major spoilers about the upcoming film, especially about his character, Kylo Ren.
In a recent interview with GQ, the actor talked about his character's personality and how he might just be pretending to be someone he really is not. According to him, Kylo Ren "peels away layers" to evolve into other people, and so, the person people see on the outside as him is not really him.
"He's a vulnerable kid who doesn't know where to put his energy, but when he puts his mask on, suddenly, he's playing a role," Driver said, adding that it was J.J. Abrams' original idea, but it was director Rian Johnson who took it to the next level.

Driver's statement sparked intrigue among "Star Wars" fans, especially considering Carrie Fisher's lines as General Leia Organa in one of the trailers for the film, where she tells her husband to bring Kylo Ren home. In the said trailer, Leia tells her husband Han Solo that there is still "light" in his son, so he has to bring Kylo back home.
Another possible major spoiler dropped by Driver was about Daisy Ridley's character, Rey, in the upcoming film, who, according to him, has a "hidden identity."
"You have, also, the hidden identity of this princess who's hiding who she really is so she can survive and Kylo Ren and her hiding behind these artifices," Driver said of Ridley's character Rey.
Previously, Johnson teased that "Star Wars: The Last Jedi" would see a part of Rey's identity come to light. It remains to be seen if Driver's recent statement about the character has anything to do with that.
"Star Wars: The Last Jedi" hits U.S. theaters on Dec. 15, 2017.
