Stephanie Anderson, Sam Poueu Expecting First Child in July

They met while competing on "The Biggest Loser," fell in love and are now expecting their first child. Fan favorites Sam Poueu and Stephanie Anderson just announced they are expecting a little one in July.

The couple has had to endure a lot of ups and downs in their relationship, according to Us Weekly. Poueu feel 54 feet from a fire escape and suffered a traumatic brain injury in addition to a punctured lung, severed kidney, shattered pelvis, and fractured tibia.

"Just from the experience of her being my caretaker post-accident, it was a dead giveaway that she'd be a fantastic mother. Given everything we both have been through this past year, this pregnancy eclipsed everything," Poueu told the magazine. "It put everything back into perspective."

The couple wed just nine months ago after meeting during filming for "The Biggest Loser" in 2010. Poueu surprised Anderson with a proposal on a special episode of "Biggest Loser."

"Baby, I love you. Since that first day that I saw you, I knew that there wasn't a day in the rest of my life that I wanted to go without seeing your face. That was a year ago. Now, I want us forever. Will you be my wife?" Poueu asked.

Anderson said yes, and the couple exchanged vows in front of friends and family. Now they are preparing for an addition to the family and could not be happier.

"I felt like this [pregnancy] was one of the many reasons God kept me alive during the five-story fall, so I could be the father of my wife's baby," he said.

"It is just a joy and a testament to what we've been through that we've been able to go through some of the hardest chapters in our lives and start this new chapter with such positivity. It's exciting. It means the world to both of us … We met to fall in love and start this family," Anderson gushed.

Fans are thrilled for the couple and wish them only the best.

"This story warmed my heart and brought tears to my eyes. God bless you both and your baby. Much happiness and good health," The Butter posted on the Daily Mail's website.

"They are the cutest couple. Best of luck!" added Lily of the Valley.
