Stephen Curry Glorifies God After Historic Shooting in MSG
Stephen Curry, the 24-year-old Golden State Warriors point guard, scored the points in regulation this NBA season and made sure to glorify God after accomplishing the feat.
Curry scored 54 points at the New York Knicks' Madison Square Garden arena, scoring the third most points from a visiting player since 1968. The point guard follows only behind Michael Jordan's 55 points and Kobe Bryant's 61 points scored in MSG, shooting 18-of-28 from the field with 11-of-13 from three-point range.
Although Curry's performance was not enough to best the Knicks, who beat the Warriors 109-105, the Christian point guard took to Twitter to glorify God.

"Only thing more special would've been the win! But God is good," Curry tweeted on the account where he lists Philippians 4:13 in his profile.
The point guard spoke about his performance in a USA Today report.
"I felt good all night. Obviously played the whole game, so was just trying to keep my legs underneath me on the offensive end, and you know, just stick to the game on the defensive end," Curry said. "Once I started seeing that three-ball go down in transition, all sorts of spots on the floor, I knew it was going to be a good night."
Mark Jackson, Warriors coach and a native New Yorker who once served as a point guard for the Knicks seemed impressed by Curry's performance.
"We were short-handed and we needed a performance like that to have a chance," Jackson said in a USA Today report. "He put on a clinic. ... I've seen a lot of great performances in this building and his goes up there. I've seen a lot. I've seen a lot, but that shooting performance was a thing of beauty."
Jackson was not the only person to notice what Curry had done in MSG on Wednesday night. Kyrie Irving, the point guard for the Cleveland Cavaliers, took to Twitter to mention what he witnessed.
"Sheesh, @StephenCurry30 went to work," Irving tweeted.
J.R. Smith, Knicks guard who played against Curry on Wednesday, also made sure to mention his opponent.
"You are an All Star in my book any day! Unbelievable game bro," Smith tweeted to Curry. "54 PTs in 48 min 11/13 from the 3! That's work kid!"
Finish Line, the sports apparel company, posed a question for NBA fans on its official Twitter page, putting Curry's performance against some of the best in the leagues history asking, "Who's MSG performance is the best: MJ's double nickel, @kobebryants 61 or @StephenCurry30's 54?"
