Steve Jobs Dead: World Grieves Death of Tech. Genius Who 'Put a Ding in the Universe'

Celebrities, politicians, Apple fans, and people across the globe have expressed their grief over Steve Job’s death at the age 56 on Wednesday.

“I would like to put a ding in the universe,” Jobs once said during a speech. Inventor of game-changing devices such as the iPad, iPod, iPhone, and items that were at “the intersection of art and technology,” he guided Apple from a company in serious financial trouble to becoming the richest company in the world.

President Barack Obama said of the visionary, “There may be no greater to tribute to Steve’s success than the fact that much of the world learned of his death on a device he invented.”
