Steven Tyler Health Condition Latest News Update: Singer Calls Heart Attack Rumors 'Creative Speculation'

Aerosmith lead singer Steven Tyler denies rumors alleging he suffered a heart attack or seizures which prompted the band to cancel the South American leg of their tour.

It is true that the band canceled the four remaining stops in their AeroVederci tour due to "unexpected medical issues" which Tyler has been facing. They, however, did not say what these problems were in particular. But rumors about the singer having a heart attack and seizures quickly surfaced.

The 69-year-old rocker addresses these rumors in a statement which was published on the band's official website. He wrote, "I give you all an A+ for creative speculations but I certainly did not have a heart attack or a seizure (unless Joe Perry is takin' a rippin' lead)."

Additionally, Tyler admitted that he needs immediate care and that after the procedure he will needs rest to ensure that he can still perform in the future. In the statement, he urged fans not to worry and he promised to be back.

Aerosmith canceled shows in Curitiba, Brazil which was supposed to be on Wednesday, Sept. 27, in Santiago, Chile on Saturday, Sept. 30, in Rosario, Argentina on Tuesday, Oct. 3, and in Monterrey, Mexico on Saturday, Oct. 7.

"To everybody in South America...Brazil, Chile, Argentina and Mexico...I'm very sorry and feel like I've let you down," he wrote. "I won't be able to continue the last four shows of this tour. I flew back to the US on doctor's orders last night after the show in Sao Paulo," he wrote.

Despite the cancellation, fans were supportive of the decision. Many responded to Tyler's statements, praying for his recovery, wishing him good health, hoping he can rock on soon.
