'Steven Universe' New Episodes Coming via the Cartoon Network App on Nov. 10

"Steven Universe" finally has new episodes coming early this month, to the huge relief of the show's faithful fanbase. The new episodes are coming first to the Cartoon Network app on Friday, Nov. 10.

Cartoon Network has also announced, via a post from their official Twitter PR handle, teaser clips for the new batch of episodes coming to their mobile streaming service. Along the way, the trailer announced the news that six new episodes of "Steven Universe" will be coming to the Cartoon Network App by the end of next week.

Meanwhile, the network has also confirmed that the new episodes will also be airing on the Cartoon Network channel "beginning in December," as per their press release, as quoted by Polygon. This much was confirmed later by a Cartoon Network representative, although they could not give a more specific air date than that as of this time.

The new episodes will be the first of several to start a new storyline after the four-episode "Wanted" arc, according to Broadcasting Cable. In this new story, Mayor Bill Dewey (Joel Hodgson) will get in a lot of trouble while running a campaign. Fortunately, Steven (Zach Callison) and his friends, Garnet (Estelle), Amethyst (Michaela Dietz) and Pearl (Deedee Magno), are ready to help.

Cartoon Network could still be feeling their way around their new streaming app, starting earlier this year when they put up several episodes of "Steven Universe" on their online service, way before they were scheduled to air on regular television and cable.

They later pulled these episodes a short time later, with no explanation, leading fans to speculate that these episodes were leaked. Cartoon Network would later confirm that it was their intent to push new "Steven Universe" content first to their new online platform.

The Cartoon Network app is currently available for iOS, Android and Amazon devices.
