Stevie Nicks, American Idol Coach Admits Phillip Phillips is 'Gorgeous'

Stevie Nicks appeared on American Idol Wednesday night as a coach to idol hopefuls. While Nicks may have helped to improve everyone's game, she reserved some of her own game for Phillip Phillips.

The Fleetwood Mac singer who also has a very successful solo career took a special liking to the twice named Phillip.

"Had it been you, me and [fellow Fleetwood Mac singer Lindsey Buckingham] in 1975, Mick Fleetwood would have asked all three of us to be part of Fleetwood Mac. You're that good," the 67-year-old told Phillips on the show.

Nicks continued with her esteemed review of Phillips, commenting on his promising future career.

"I think he's going to be very famous, and I think because he has a certain magic, you cannot deny it," she said of Phillips. "Last but not least, he's gorgeous."

While Phillips managed to wow both Nicks and the American Idol audience, he was not the only one who was attributed with giving an outstanding performance.

"[Tonight] was a magical mystery tour of over-the-top talent and emotion," Aerosmith's Stephen Tyler commented.

Colton Dixon, who was warned last week about being open with his religion, made a daring move by attempting to cover what he considered to be a "worship" song by Lifehouse.

"You are the light that's leading me to the place where I find peace again," the lyrics read. "You are the strength that keeps me walking. You are the hope that keeps me trusting. You are the life to my soul. You are my purpose. You're everything."

The audience offered Dixon a very supportive applause.

"What Colton's performance lacked in melody and range it made up for in passion," The Christian Science Monitor commented.

Jessica Sanchez also scored a top notch review for her rendition of Beyonce's "Sweet Dreams."
