Stranger Pays for Epileptic Child's Meal, Says 'God Only Gives Special Children to Special People'
A North Carolina family recently experienced a special blessing last week in the form of a stranger's kind gesture that paid for their meal at a restaurant and left them an encouraging note.
The note read" God only gives special children to special people" and the stranger was referring to their 8-year old child Riley who suffers from epilepsy.
The England family received the message from a waitress this past Friday at the Stag-N-Doe pizza restaurant in China Grove, N.C.
"I'll try to do this without crying," said the waitress to the family, according to a report from WBTV.com. "But another customer has paid for your bill tonight and wanted me to give you this note."
England described Riley as nonverbal and stated that he often gets frustrated due to his inability to speak. He acted out frequently during their dinner on that day.
"He threw the phone and started screaming," said England to WBTV. "The past few weeks have been very hard and trying for us, especially with public outings. Riley was getting loud and hitting the table, and I know it was aggravating to some people."
The random good deed brought tears to England's eyes. Her son has suffered with seizures since he was just 18 month old.
"To have someone do that small act towards us shows that some people absolutely understand what we are going through and how hard it is to face the public sometimes," she said. "They made me cry, blessed me more than they know. I felt like out of all the rude negative comments that we are faced with, these outweigh them. The people who care. Little did he know what struggles we had been facing lately, and this was surely needed at the moment."
