'Stranger Things' Season 2 Spoilers: Eleven's Mysterious Message Teased
The premiere of "Stranger Things" season 2 is still weeks away and Netflix has been relentless in showing teasers after teasers. One clip shows Eleven (Millie Bobby Brown) uttering words that might be mystery messages. What could she be trying to say?
In the said clip from Netflix, Eleven and another woman utter random words like "rainbow" or "sunflower" while images of the objects flashed. It shows Eleven with wires hooked up to her head and the woman bleeding from her nose.
An image of Dr. Martin Brenner (Matthew Modine) from the Hawkins Lab also briefly appeared on the clip. Newspaper clippings of stories with headlines like "Alleged experiment, abuse" and "Dr. Martin Brenner named in a lawsuit" also flashed.
Viewers anticipate the exposition of Eleven's backstory on "Stranger Things" season 2. Last season, the show vaguely hinted that she was taken away from her mother and raised at Hawkins Labs under Dr. Brenner. He used Eleven and an undetermined number of victims for his experiment on psychokinetic skills.
Netflix also released another teaser for Friday the 13th that shows 13 scenes for "Stranger Things" season 2. Not much, however, can be gauged from the clips except that the upcoming installment will once again thrill viewers as a new monster could be haunting the residents of Hawkins.
"We cannot reveal anything! But what we can say is that it can get worse (for the characters)," creator Ross Duffer said. "This season starts a little darker because it's just these characters dealing with what happened."
"We introduced new characters who have not experienced the supernatural yet," Ross' brother and co-creator Matt Duffer revealed.
Netflix will release all nine episodes of "Stranger Things" season 2 on Friday, Oct. 27, at 3:00 a.m. EST. The show also stars Noah Schnapp (Will Byers), Finn Wolfhard (Mike Wheeler), Gaten Matarazzo (Dustin Henderson), Caleb McLaughlin (Lucas Sinclar), Charlie Heaton (Jonathan Byers), Joe Keery (Steve Harrington), Winona Ryder (Joyce Byers) and David Harbour (Chief Jim Hopper), along with newcomers Sadie Sink (Max) and Dacre Montgomery (Billy).
