"The question is whether they're real or not," co-creator Matt Duffer told Entertainment Weekly. "So it seems like he's having some sort of post-traumatic stress disorder," he went on to say.

In order to help Will, Mike and the gang will once again look into the dangerous place, bringing in front of them a whole host of new threats and danger.

As for those who have been wondering if they will ever see Barb (Shannon Purser) again in "Stranger Things" season 2, the creators of the show promise that like Nancy (Natalie Dryer), fans will get some closure on her death. That being said, it looks like there is no resurrection in line for the beloved character.

"We do know a little bit about Barb ... but we're not going to tell you anything," David Harbour, who plays police chief Jim Hopper, revealed.

"We will tell you that we do deal with the loose ends in Season 2, and we do deal with some of the internet rage over Barb's death. We will have justice for Barb in some sense. But those of you wishing Barb will somehow come back to the show, I can assure you Barb is very much dead," he went on to say.

Mike, Dustin (Gaten Matarazzo), Lucas (Caleb McLaughlin) will also make new friends in Billy (Dacre Montgomery) and Max (Sadie Sink), but the former appears to be hiding a dark secret.

"Stranger Things" season 2 will premiere Oct. 31 on Netflix.
