Strangers From a School Do Something Memorable for a Basketball Team – It Will Bring Tears to Your Eyes
The Gainesville Tornadoes are a basketball team that has players from a juvenile correction facility playing on their team. They are able to play because of their good behavior. But, when they play other teams, no one comes to cheer. Until this day …
In Gainesville, Texas life can get rough at times at their juvenile correction facility for felony offenders. One of the few perks offered to them, for good behavior, is a chance to leave the prison from time to time each year to play basketball. What these players didn't know is that a huge surprise was waiting for them on the court. Vanguard Prep in Waco is where Gainesville was scheduled to play.
When two students heard about who was coming, they decided to do something heartwarming for the visiting team. They had a majority of their fans cheer for them to inspire them and make them feel good.
We all need someone there to compliment and tell us we are doing good. These boys knew just what to do. Something no one involved will ever forget!
