'Street Fighter 5' News: Zeku Revealed as Final Season 2 Character

Capcom has unveiled its final "Street Fighter 5" season 2 downloadable content (DLC) character.

Zeku has been added as the last DLC character for the video game's season 2, according to reports. Known as an aggressive character, Zeku has a V-trigger ability that helps him transform into a younger version of himself during fights. He also has the power to alter his abilities as his appearance changes.

The aging ninja was first introduced in "Street Fighter Alpha 2," in which he took on the role of Guy's former mentor. In that installment, he sported a moustache that seemed to be gone now. This is a mysterious development which is expected to be addressed in Zeku's story mode.

"Zeku performs a special technique that transforms him to his younger self, completely changing his move set. He can then use Tenpo Kari to transform back. Depending on the directional input you press after the V-Skill connects, Zeku will teleport either in front or behind the opponent," reads a press release from Capcom.

"Street Fighter 5" players have long suspected the ninja would appear in the game since they started combing through leaked silhouettes in May of this year. Capcom has yet to officially announce when the third season of DLC will come out, but players are already guessing that it will feature Sakura and Sagat as additional characters.

GameSpot notes Zeku can be purchased on its own for $6 or with the season 2 pass for $30. He will be joining previously released characters Ed, Abigail, Kolin, Menat and Akuma on Oct. 24. Arriving alongside the ever-changing ninja later this month are his Story, Battle, and Nostalgia costumes. While fans wait for the new content to drop, they can check out the video game's latest DLC bundle of new outfits for the Halloween season.

Developed by Capcom and Dimps, "Street Fighter 5" is available for PC and PlayStation 4.
