'Street Fighter V' Adds Classic Character Guile, Trailer Released
Fans of Capcom's fighting game "Street Fighter V" are in for a treat as the video game will be getting a new character. According to a report by Game Spot, classic character Guile has been confirmed to be added into the roster at the end of April. Along with the announcement is a trailer video showing off the action and fighting moves of the United States Air Force major.
As detailed in Ubergizmo, Guile will be appearing in the game the same way that he has been released in other "Street Fighter" titles. His seamless hair, beefy muscles and even his signature moves which include the Sonic Boom and somersault or "flash kick" are still present in the latest franchise. But as expected, the character also comes with new things. PC Gamer reported that Guile will be getting his own Character Story and set of Trials.
He will also possess the move called "Faultless Move," which is an action that allows him to progress in a "crouch walk state" while maintaining his charge. The video trailer, as noted in Siliconera, also showed the Solid Puncher V-Trigger as well as the Sonic Hurricane, which is his Critical Art and the colossal and powerful version of the Sonic Boom.
Moreover, the upcoming character will also be tagging along the first "Street Fighter V" DLC stage. It is revealed that it is going to be Guile's Air Force Base. Those who possess the season pass will be able to obtain the stage for free while those who do not have will have to purchase it for 70,000 Fight Money. The good news though is that Guile will be a free character for this month while waiting for Capcom's Zenny shop.
There is no information yet on when exactly Guile will be released into the game so fans will have to stay tuned. "Street Fighter V" is available to play on PlayStation 4 and Windows PC.
