'Street Fighter V' News: Recently Announced Zeku's Special Moves Detailed Further
Zeku can switch battle styles in the middle of a match
Zeku was recently confirmed as the final Season 2 downloadable content character coming to "Street Fighter V," and this new addition has quite the interesting moveset.
That is because Zeku actually possesses two different movesets.
First off, Zeku can battle as his older self. As Capcom's official website noted, in this form, he can fight exceptionally from range.
On the other hand, a younger Zeku will be able to deal more damage when he fights within close quarters.
For fans curious about how those two distinct movesets will be implemented in the game, a recent post on Capcom Unity explained how that will be handled.
Zeku's V-Skill will be what enables him to switch between the two forms. The V-Skill of the older one is known as Fukuro, and this will allow him to quickly transform into his more youthful form. When controlling the younger Zeku, players can use the V-Skill again - this time known as Tenpo Kari - to go back to his older form.
As mentioned earlier, the two forms of Zeku excel in different ways inside "Street Fighter V," so players will want to see which version of this character works best for them.
Zeku's other special moves inside the game are accessible regardless of which form he is currently using.
His V-Trigger, the Bushinryu Shinge Kiko, featured him moving quickly towards his opponent and he followed that up with a vicious combo.
This new character's critical art is the Batsuzan Gaisei, and this involves him launching his opponent into the air. He then proceeds to switch back and forth between his forms while continually striking his opponent before ending the move with a powerful stomp.
"Street Fighter V" players will be able to check out Zeku's many moves for themselves as soon as he is officially made available for download on Oct. 24.
