'Street Fighter V' Rumors: New Features for Stages May Be Introduced Soon
Future DLC stages also rumored to arrive with more variations
"Street Fighter V" players who have been longing to see more variations in the game's stages may have their wishes granted in the near future.
Spotted recently by Shoryuken, noted data miner "X-Kira" once again went through the files and discovered that there may be new stage features coming.
A new video posted recently by the data miner showed that some of the game's stages now have alternate versions.
To be more specific, "X-Kira" showed that Apprentice Alley, Hillside Plaza, the Lair of the Four Kings and Union Station now have "default" versions and a "Setting 1" variant.
"X-Kira" then proceeded to provide viewers with previews of those new stage variants, and for the most part, the differences were significant. However, they still closely resembled their original versions.
Even so, there is one change present in the Lair of the Four Kings that "Street Fighter V" players may want to take note of. The original version of that stage featured a statue of F.A.N.G, but the variant replaced that with a figure of someone who really looked like Sagat.
The reason for why that change is notable is because rumors have been hinting for a while now that Sagat will be one of the downloadable content characters introduced in Season 3 of the game. Perhaps that stage tweak is a little hint from the developers that the Muay Thai master is indeed on his way.
Going back to "X-Kira's" findings, the data miner also shared that DLC stages coming in the future may arrive with more variants as well, with players possibly being allowed to choose if the battleground will be shown during the afternoon or even at night.
For now, fans are just going to have wait and see if these "Street Fighter V" stage changes really will be added, and hopefully for them, more details about that matter will be shared sooner rather than later.
