'Street Fighter V' Rumors: Will New Moves Other than the Second V-Triggers Be Added?

Rumors hinting that more moves could be introduced once the 'Arcade Edition' is released

The "Arcade Edition" of "Street Fighter V" is coming next year, and it will add several new elements to the fighting game.

Among those new elements are additional game modes – Arcade and Extra Battle – as well as a Gallery.

The new edition of the fighting game will even contain 28 characters and all of them will come with not one, but two V-Triggers.

Developers have hinted at how significant the introduction of a second V-Trigger can be in a recent post on the Capcom Unity blog, noting that players may need to familiarize themselves again with their favorite characters or perhaps even check out the members of the roster to see if they have become more compatible with them.

As potentially game-changing as these second V-Triggers could become, there may be other additions that could significantly affect battles.

Just recently, a new screenshot featuring Birdie has managed to draw the attention of some fans as it may be hinting at something developers have not officially announced yet. Birdie was shown executing a new move in the screenshot, but as EventHubs user "kumokgb" noted, the aforementioned character's V-Trigger is not actually active.

Going by what the screenshot showed, the website noted that it may be an indicator that Birdie and perhaps even other "Street Fighter V" characters may be getting new moves in addition to the second V-Triggers.

If new moves are indeed going to be added on top of the second V-Triggers, then players really may want to spend some time getting to know the members of the roster again to see how much they have changed.

For now, fans will just have to wait and see if there really will be more moves introduced and they may have to do so until the "Arcade Edition" of "Street Fighter V" is released on Jan. 16.
