Reports from the sets say that Leto was so serious, he wanted everybody to address him as "Mr. J." Many didn't take it seriously as Leto is known for his quirky antics that have previously created controversies.

He had famously sent a rat to Margot Robbie. Furthermore, he had sent some bullets to Will Smith. Then he had also given a video to the cast of "Suicide Squad" that had him and a dead hog in it.

Atlas Entertainment founder and producer Charles Roven, also the producer of "Suicide Squad," says that this was actually great fun. While talking to Collidr, Roven said, "Look, you know, it was different, it was fun. The group first wasn't sure because the AD's had to call him 'Mr. J' to get him to come to the set. And he did in many ways isolate himself from the rest of the group, but that's really what his character was, the purpose of his character in many ways, other than when he was with Harley or trying to get Harley."

He further added that this was in good fun and the actors of the film bonded well.

On the issue of "Suicide Squad" getting a PG-13 rating in spite of it being a film that tells the story from the villains' view point, Roven told Collidr that the plan was to make all DC Cinematic Universe movies get a PG-13 rating.

"Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" will also have Jared Leto starring as The Joker in a cameo and it comes out on Mar. 25 2016. "Suicide Squad" will follow and release on Aug. 5, 2016.
