'Suing the Devil' - New Christian Movie Captures Audiences, Brings People Back to Christ
Christian film, "Suing the Devil," was released in select theaters on August 26 is currently the second-highest grossing independent film in the nation.
The film, described as a Christian comedy thriller, follows the trial of Luke O'Brien, a janitor and night time law student who is dissatisfied with his life and decides to sue the devil for $8 trillion.
The day before O'Brien files a default judgment, Satan appears to defend himself, and comes equipped with 10 of the nation's best trial lawyers. Considered the "trial of the century," the world is glued to Legal TV to see who will come out victorious.

Just one week after being released, 'Suing the Devil' is capturing the attention of believers and non-believers a like. Many are comparing the film to the 2004 biblical drama, Passion of the Christ. 'Suing the Devil' has received a significant amount of acclaim.
"Gone is a beautiful, yet dark and enigmatic portrayal of questions that are ignored in today's cultural landscape," Youth With a Mission team leader, Lewis Yu said of the movie.
"Congratulations! It encourages me to know that there are Christians in the vineyard with such high standards of quality," best-selling author, Philip Yancy said of director Tim Chey.
Chey, a Harvard educated, reformed atheist says he is pleased with how the film has affected audiences and has brought people back to Christ.
"So many people are us telling how the film opened their eyes to the devil's tactics," he said.
"We had one story where a couple had a troubled marriage for 17 years. The morning after they saw the film, they restored their marriage and opened their house up for worship. Another was an atheist, who came to the front of the theater, and got on his knees after another screening. And yet another was a gang member who accepted Christ because of the movie. Incredible."
