'Suits' Season 7: New Dynamic To Be Explored; Will 'Darvey' Happen?
The season 6 finale of "Suits" saw Mike (Patrick J. Adams) finally becoming a lawyer, thanks in a large part to the surprise return of Jessica (Gina Torres). But what will the new season have in store for viewers?
For one thing, season 7 will see Mike working at the firm alongside Harvey (Gabriel Macht) and Louis (Rick Hoffman). Since he is now a real lawyer, they do not have to worry about him getting exposed anymore, which will definitely change a few things.
"Our band is back together but they're different, they're changed," showrunner Aaron Korsh told Deadline. "Mike isn't a brand new attorney anymore. He's also not a fraud anymore and how is it going to impact their lives and relationships moving forward under this new dynamic?"

Additionally, there is also a possibility that Mike will bring in some of his colleagues from the clinic to work on cases with them. That much was teased in the season 6 finale, and Korsh echoed the same thing in his interview with the publication. However, he also said that they have not fully planned the seventh season yet, so nothing has been set in stone.
Of course, Mike is not the only one who went through a chance of pace in the finale. Donna (Sarah Rafferty) realized that she was not satisfied with her current situation, whether in work or in a more personal way. And season 7 will see her searching for what she truly wants.
It is no secret that a lot of "Suits" fans want Harvey and Donna to end up together. But with her recent realization, it remains to be seen if anything other than a flirtatious friendship will happen between them.
However, if Macht were to decide, the "Darvey" pairing should be left open to interpretation instead.
"My feeling is I'd like to see it left untold, where you never quite know: do they get together, do they not? If they do, then it's gotta be one of the last moments of the series," the actor told Harpers Bazaar.
"Suits" season 7 will premiere in the summer.
