Super Bowl stars share their faith in Christ ahead of the big game
A.J. Brown - Eagles wide receiver
In his video by Sports Spectrum, Eagles star receiver A.J. Brown, acquired in a blockbuster trade last offseason, said "he had plans, but God had other plans" to do with his life.
The 25-year-old, who the Tennessee Titans drafted in the second round of the 2019 NFL Draft, said that he "tries not to lean on his own understanding," as mentioned in the Holy Bible Scripture Proverb 3:5-6.
"I read the Bible a lot because that's how I fight my problems. I'm not trying to stand over here and say I'm a perfect guy. Because I'm not. Nobody is. But, I just lean heavy on my faith and try to let Him direct my paths," Brown said, adding that he resonates with Romans 8:18, which states: "I consider that our present sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed in us."
