Super Mario 3 Re-Released for the Wii U and 3DS Through Nintendo eShop
Nintendo will be releasing classic video game, Super Mario Bros. 3 for the Wii U and 3DS's virtual consoles in the near future.
The game, originally released for the NES in 1990, is highly regarded as one of the greatest video games of all time and also one of the highest-selling games of all time. Over the years, the game has seen re-release on the Gamecube, Gameboy Advance and a host of other places. Now with this release to the eShop, a whole new generation of fans will get to play the game.

A new Mario game is heading to the Wii U as well: Super Mario 3D World will explore old and new levels and could be seen in a gameplay preview.
"We wanted to show you more new levels from Super Mario 3D World! This time we picked up some Nintendo friends so we can have some four-player multiplayer action. We also took some of your suggestions and did picture in picture so you can see the game play better," the video description reads.
Super Mario 3D World made its first appearance at the E3 event over the summer, and the game definitely turned heads as far as impressive game play.
The game is multiplayer; a friend can help out using the GamePad touchscreen. The game will feature a new style of game play, utilizing for the first time a 2D-style of platforming play, but in 3D. Also introduced will be the cat suit, which allows players to climb walls.
3D World will also bring back Princess Peach and Toad as playable characters for the first time in a main Mario game since Super Mario Bros 2 for NES.
Mario 3D World hits the Wii U on Nov. 22 in North America and is a follow up to Super Mario 3D Land.
Mario will also be found in Mario Kart 8, set for release in April 2014, and in Super Smash Bros. 4, coming early 2014.
You can also catch Mario with his buddy and rival, Sonic the Hedgehog, in both Smash Bros 4 and Mario and Sonic at the Sochi 2014 Olympic Winter Games. This game is reported to be released on Nov. 15. In this long-running series, characters from Mario's world and Sonic's world face off against each other for Olympic superiority.
