Super Mario Maker for Wii U News: Players Get Some New Options and Upgrades
As the Christmas season continues to brew in the hearts of gamers who have known "Super Mario" for the longest time, Nintendo is about to release a new Super Mario Maker Bookmark for Wii U update that offers a whole bunch of options and upgrades fit for the gift-giving season.
Nintendo says choosing specific courses among the millions will now be much easier with the new portal as it also comes with a software update that allows for further course creation.
The game has not only acquired praise globally but is also included in "Best of 2015" lists released by various outlets and networks. It has recently been awarded as the "Best Family Game" during the 2015 "Game Awards" show, and with the new update, it promises a gameplay that only gets better by the day.

"With millions of courses already available to play, Super Mario Maker truly offers something for everyone — and is about to offer even more," Nintendo's blog says.
The new Bookmark will be accessible through computers, tablets, or smartphones, and players can use their devices to check which courses are most recommended. Filtering options are also at hand, meaning players can filter not just one but all courses by difficulty level, theme, course style, and many more.
What's more interesting is tags can be used to make the search for tags much more convenient. With the use of tags, families can track courses that fall under a specific category, making the gaming experience much more exciting.
Of course, the options are not just available for devices but are also accessible on Wii U through the Course World in Super Mario Maker. Players can simply look for a course, hit the inviting Play Button, and immediately jump into the fun.
As for the software update that comes with the Bookmark release, a Fire Koopa Clown Car will be available for all. It is the perfect vehicle for "shoot'em up" courses. With fireballs that can take down blocks, the kids will surely be in for a fun Christmas season game time.
Other upgrades include P Warp Doors, a new Bumper, and the possibility to unlock a new Costume Mario.
The Super Mario Maker Bookmark and software upgrade will be available on Tuesday, Dec. 22, 2015.
