'Super Smash Bros. 4' Rumors: Cloud Joins the Roster This Month?

In what could be the most exciting rumor yet about "Super Smash Bros. 4," it is said that Cloud Strife will be the latest addition to the game's roster this month.

The rumor first surfaced after Twitter user Chalexiss posted an image indicating that the "Final Fantasy 7" star will be the next big character to join the team of characters from various franchises. The user claimed that his image had the information about Cloud's arrival date. He also said his claims came from a European Nintendo page.

While Nintendo has not officially given news about Cloud's arrival to the game, Christian Today says Chalexiss has taken down the image.

The outlet also notes that The Game Awards has become a means for Nintendo to make big announcements for the past years. The publisher has also said that it will host a "Super Smash Bros." stream event this December as gift to its loyal fans. The announcement has raised speculations that the event will reveal Cloud's arrival.

According to Yibada, a teaser was unveiled during Nintendo's Direct event held on Nov. 12 and it showed Cloud moving around and taking control of the game. The trailer also revealed some of Cloud's iconic stances and moves that fans know from "FF7."

It is unclear when Cloud will be making his debut in the much-awaited game, but fans are already looking forward to the character's powerful entrance and how he will become an efficient choice against other competing characters.

Cloud Strife is known for his iconic huge sword. He was originally designed by Tetsuya Nomura and is featured in several other spin-offs and sequels in "Final Fantasy 7." He is also differentiated from other characters due to his spiky blonde hair, mesmerizing blue eyes, and a serious look almost every time he enters the screen.

Those who are looking forward to his entry into the "Super Smash Bros. 4" roster are encouraged to be more patient as usually it takes time to integrate a big time and widely acclaimed character such as Cloud.
