Super Smash Bros 4 Sneak Peek: Sonic Lost World-Inspired Stage Revealed (PHOTO)
Super Smash Bros 4 director Masahiro Sakurai revealed a little information of Sonic the Hedgehog's stage in the upcoming game.
"Pic of the day. Sonic: Lost World is out in Japan today! The Windy Hill area can also be seen in Super Smash Bros. for Wii U…but I can't tell you all the details yet!" he said to the Miiverse for his daily pic of the day post.
In the screen shot, it shows Sonic and Mario facing off in a very much Sonic-looking background of grassy hills and plains.

In the last installment of SSB for the Wii in 2008, "Brawl," they included classic Sonic level, Green Hill Zone.

Another Super Smash Bros 4 sneak peek was hinted earlier this month as Sakurai revealed Sonic the Hedgehog's attack move in a picture.
"Sonic's standard attack is also known as PPK. He finishes off his move with a side kick," said Sakurai in the caption of a screencap of the move.
The PPK stands for punch, punch, kick. Sonic hits them with a right, then a left, and then a strong kick.
The game will arrive on the Wii U and 3DS sometime in 2014.
Sonic Lost World will be released soon in North America on Oct. 29 for the Wii U and 3DS. It has already debuted in Europe and Australia to mixed reviews.
Early reviews for the games have said the 3DS version of the game is superior to the Wii U version, continuing the tradition of the Sega Sonic Team perhaps trying to do too much with everyone's beloved hedgehog.
The 3DS version is praised for its good graphics, solid level design, and gameplay.
The Wii U version suffers from bad camera angles and poor instruction in utilizing an arsenal of new moves Sonic knows, as well as poor level design that slows him down instead of speeds him up. However, the graphics are said to be among the best of the Wii U thus far.
The game is in both 3D and 2D, and as in the most recent additions, many enjoyed the 2DS Sonic more because of the nostalgic feel. However, reviews for Kotaku felt the game was its best when moving away from the frustrating play of the 2D.
Gamestop and Amazon will be offering separate special promotional bonus packages for gamers who pre-order the game before the North American release on Oct. 29.
