'Supergirl Series' Show Ends Its First Season Run on April 18
As the month of March is fast approaching its end, viewers will be soon treated to several season finales of 2015-2016 TV series. Recently, CBS announced the list of the shows that will embark on their season conclusion, and, unfortunately for "Supergirl" fans, the Girl of Steel is one of those shows that will be taking a breather for a while.
"Supergirl" has four remaining episodes for its first season run, including its season finale episode scheduled on April 18. Its highly-anticipated March 28 episode titled, "World's Finest," featuring "The Flash" crossover on "Supergirl," will serve as its last prior to a one week breather before it finally returns again for its April 11 episode until its first season takes a bow on April 18.
Among all the DC series on TV, "Supergirl" will be the first to have its season finale. Other DC series on another network, CW, has, likewise, announced that "DC's Legends of Tomorrow," "The Flash" and "Arrow" will have their season-ender episodes on May 19, May 24, and May 25. Meanwhile, another DC show, "Gotham" is yet to announce its season finale date, although it is believed to happen on May 16.
However, fans of the said DC series on CW can already look forward to their respective upcoming seasons as the network has already confirmed their renewal earlier.
Meanwhile, other CBS series that will have their season finale are "Madam Secretary," "Elementary," "The Good Wife," "NCIS," "The Big Bang Theory," and "2 Broke Girls."
While it is true that CBS is yet to renew "Supergirl" for its season two run, fans of the Girl of Steel in red cape have nothing to worry about. With how the show is faring in the ratings game, it is very probable for "Supergirl" to have a second season. After all, as the adage goes, a goose that lays golden eggs must not be killed.
