'Supergirl' spoilers: Iddo Goldberg to play 'Red Tornado'
"Supergirl" is set to conquer the skies in less than two months, and now new spoilers have surfaced about one of the characters in the new superhero series.
It was earlier revealed that Red Tornado will appear in one of the episodes of Supergirl. The character is going to be played by "Salem" star Iddo Goldberg, who will also play the role of T.O. Morrow in the series, according to CarterMatt.
In the comics, Red Tornado and T.O. Morrow are separate characters, but they will be one and the same in Supergirl. Red Tornado, who is described as the "most advanced android" in the world, will later gain more power and will threaten the security of the National City and Supergirl's loved ones, the report relays.
It is worth noting that Red Tornado will be portrayed as a villain in Supergirl, but he was once one in the comics before he became an advocate for good.
In July, TVLine revealed that Jenna Dewan Tatum has been added to Supergirl's cast members as Lucy Lane. Meliisa Benoist plays Kara Zor-El or Supergirl and Mechad Brooks plays the role of James Olsen, Design and Trend reports.
Lucy, Lois Lane's sister, is entering the scene to reveal her history with James, based on the comics. Executive producer Ali Adler also revealed that Lucy will develop a friendship with Kara and will play an important role in the story as a whole.
Like her sister, Lucy is also funny, smart, and beautiful. She will appear in the third episode as James' ex-girlfriend, who has gone to National City to correct a previous mistake. In the comics, she is one of those characters who gains Kryptonian powers by wearing a suit that she found in a containment field, the report relays.
Supergirl's new episodes will begin airing on Oct. 26 at 8:30 p.m., Monday, on CBS. Its regular 8:00 p.m. slot will begin the following week.
